Project description

This 36 acre K-8 campus in North Scottsdale was designed and built in two phases. Phase One of construction was the middle school portion of the project and included administration functions, media center, middle school classrooms, gymnasium, central mechanical plant, electives building, cafeteria / music building, and outdoor flex and classroom spaces, play fields, access roads and parking areas. Copper Ridge school was the first school by Scottsdale School District to incorporate District Standards relating to program elements, space sizes, equipment standards, etc. The construction of this school also was in partnership with the City of Scottsdale Parks Department for the joint use of the athletic field facilities.
