Summertime is here again, bringing Arizona residents the inevitable soaring, sky-high temperatures. But with kids fresh out of school and families looking to escape the heat and have some fun, summer is still the perfect time to seek out adventure on an Arizona road trip.
Relief from the Phoenix area heat is only a few hours away. Once you hit higher elevations like Prescott, Flagstaff, and other beautiful Northern Arizona destinations, the difference in temperature can be as much as 20-30 degrees!
Before you load up the car and hit the road on your next adventure, here are a few tips to keep you safe and relaxed:
