Project description

The Marc Vocational Training Facility represents the most recent development phase for Marc Community Resources, a non-profit organization located in Mesa, Arizona that serves adult developmentally disadvantaged adults. This phase included significant site development on the organization’s main campus in addition to the new two-story, 34,284 square foot building which houses the Marc’s client training programs.  New parking areas, client drop off and pick up lanes, exterior ramada features and a semi-truck loading dock were introduced to further support program goals. This new facility houses the Marc Community Resources Employment Related Services Group, which provides vocational training, counseling and social services to Marc’s developmentally challenged clientele, including real-life work experience programs. The building is comprised of various flexible interior spaces to provide a diverse array of programs. These spaces include office areas, classroom type vocational training areas, flexible open vocational training areas and associated support spaces, equipment training areas, and warehouse/pallet storage areas in addition to the new loading dock that is adjacent to their new shipping and distribution area.
