Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport – Administration Building Remodel

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport

Mesa, Arizona

14,115 SF

Project description

Adaptive Architects designed the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority Administration Building Remodel, consisting of a complete interior remodel and facade improvement. The 14,115 sf building remodel improved and modernized the existing interior office space of this former air force base building with an airy open floor plan, natural light, new private offices, new conference and meeting rooms, new board room, and new electrical and mechanical systems in addition to exterior improvements to enhance the facade including new hardscape and landscape features. An updated building character entry sequence was designed to provide a professional and contemporary image that complements the existing airport architecture and enhanced airport administration functions by locating key operations in one location that had been previously dispersed throughout the airport campus.
