Backyard Taco – New Restaurant Building

The Backyard Taco is a new ground-up construction building consisting of a full-service restaurant featuring indoor dining, full-service kitchen, appropriate storage, outdoor patio dining and exterior drive-thru lane. The building is designed to be an open floor plan for the indoor dining with views to parts of the kitchen and exterior patio space. The architectural character of the building is designed to be consistent with the existing site context, which includes a contemporary look with articulated façade treatments, varying parapet heights, and attractive color / material combinations. The outdoor patio dining area is one of the primary components of the restaurant and contains a steel structure canopy system to provide shade. The interior design of the building is also a contemporary approach that utilizes interesting raw materials and exposed elements of steel, metals, and brick applications.
