Village at Oasis Park

The Marc Center’s Village at Oasis Park, completed in two phases, entails Section 811 HUD funding that will provide independent housing in a barrier-free community where disabled adults and their aging care-giver parents who also require assistance can live in close proximity in a safe, secure and supportive environment. The community aims to be a model for other projects to follow, demonstrating the higher design goal of quality space accessible to all. Dynamic forms create an energetic environment, expressed in a residential vernacular using quality, durable construction materials that promote pride-in-place and preserve individual identity. The end result is a vibrant community that creates a strong sense of place and identity, where people are enthusiastic about life and where they can live and prosper while maintaining their independent lifestyle.
