Project description

Constructed in the 1980s, St. Timothy Catholic Church serves as a vital place of worship for the Mesa community. Adaptive Architects undertook an extensive interior remodel of the administration spaces and introduced a new attached narthex entry feature. This narthex serves as a formal entrance and a communal gathering space, enhancing the overall flow and experience for parishioners before they enter the church.

The project also included the addition of a new elevator and accessible bathrooms, ensuring that all parishioners can seamlessly connect from the narthex to the main worship area. Both the interior and exterior designs were meticulously crafted to complement the church’s existing architecture, utilizing high-quality materials to ensure longevity. With this thoughtful renovation, St. Timothy Catholic Church will continue to provide a timeless sanctuary for its community for years to come.
